It would be fun to see more close-up pictures of your Krag. It looks like you have the makings of a nice 'target range' Krag there.

The stock forearm looks like a 'beaver-tail' style, so it is definitely a commercial stock.

It may be an illusion, but, your barrel profile looks heavier to me than an original Krag barrel. (Although, there appears to be a reflection from two possible sight-screw holes in your photo).

Any markings on the barrel? If it is a replacement, it might be a different caliber than .30-40.

An original Krag barrel will merely have a proof "P" on the bottom and an index line, at 9 o'clock, on the barrel and front face of the receiver ring.
