'Parashooters' neat video shows an approach that applies a "Scandinavian-type Charger" to the U.S. Krag.

Norwegian and Danish shooting clubs utilized such (Charger) devices in shooting matches.

A U.S. inventor, Parkhurst, devised a 'clip' somewhat similar to a Mauser 'stripper-clip' and a clip guide that could be attached to the Krag.

A very limited number of these were made and tested by the U. S. Ordnance Department, around 1902-03.

The Parkhurst Device was tried at a time, when a new rifle, (The 1903 Springfield), was being developed and about to be adopted.

(p.s.  KCA Member, Paul Steinmayer, was making Brass Krag Chargers, as shown in 'Parashooter's video. Family events have prevented his continuing to make them).
