I would put a Redfield, 'no drill', 102-K rear-sight on your Krag.

FWIW - The Redfield is a lot easier to find. It is a lot cheaper, than the Lyman sights. It would cover up the unused sight holes, modified side-plate, and mask the cut-away wood area.
