Yea the components listed on published loads are part of the recipe.  Fellow gave me a bunch of his once reloaded GI brass once.  I noticed the imprint of the Garand ejector hole on about all of them.  He'd started with a Hornady max load for his 168s and the load was developed in Frontier cases.  I have no experience with Frontiers, and that was long ago, but I'll bet they were lighter than GI.
