They were nice pieces to add, regardless of provenance. They were on my list of things to get at this show along with various components. The best bargain, relatively speaking was probably the Remington ammo: lower price than elsewhere and brass to be reloaded many times.

I also saw a couple of bayonets that the guy with the 1896 rifle had. They were marked $240 & $225. Bayonets are a nice thing to have, but I know little about Krag bayonets, so I decided to pass.

People complain about what the gun shows have become now due to all our gun laws, but it’s still a fun way to spend a few hours, and there are a couple of good gun stores nearby to make it worth the trip.
