I have a sporter Dane that bubba messed with.The barrel jacket was removed and the barrel cut to 28 inch.I`m shooting cast bullets [.329] through it and the best accuracy I can get at 50 yd. is about 1.25 inch. The bore is rough but the rifling is pretty good.  Is this about what I should expect? The barrel at the muzzle is only 1/2 inch diameter which to me is really small. I`m thinking that if I cut the barrel to 24 inch it might be less[whippy]. Any thoughts on this?
