I've seen these and questioned the validity of the claim. Whenever I see someone trying to "create" a story about rifles to try to make them seem more special for sale, it raises my suspicion that they are hiding something that would make them less appealing. I'm just not interested, I guess.

Good fortune to anyone who buys one of these. You might get a rifle worthy of the price paid. That's the important thing.

I've always tried to follow the advice to buy the rifle, not the story. (Unless it is listed in the SRS, of course!)
