Obviously a Norwegian Howdah for hunting tigers around the fjords when the big cats come down to the waters edge to drink.

I saw it on FB too.  Can you imagine trying to fire it one handed?  Just looking at it makes my wrist go OUCH!!!  (does anyone have some splints and an ace bandage on hand?)   :'(

The BATF 'paperwork' would be longer than its barrel!

                 Kongsberg or Steyr manufakktur?

The "Bonnie und Klyde Modell".

(BTW - The rear-sight is probably stuck in someone's forehead).

Wowsers, I want to shoot it once! Conditions, moderate load of pistol powder with a 125 grain bullet.
Pistol with a rifle receiver would be a problem with the feds.

Striker pistols had bolt handles on the left hand for right hand shooters. This Krag is obviously best handled by a lefty.

My son and I each fired my Bond Snake Slayer with a 410 shell once. Somewhere around here is box of 23 .410 shells. Will not do that again as 45 shotshells are plenty effective on rattlers and fish snakes.

'FredC' - What's a 'Fish Snake'?

FWIW - I'm a Left-Handed writer, but, Right-Handed with tools, guns, and Sports.

With this bolt-action pistol, I would keep a constant Left hand grip on the fore-stock and work the bolt with my Right hand, (rotating the gun inward with my Left hand and 'bolt lifting' with my free Right hand).

This rig would actually work pretty good for me. It's kind of like working a 'break-open' shotgun or 'trapdoor' & 'rolling-block' action.

A friend called them Texas yellow bellied fish snakes, not sure if that is the official name or not. They do eat fish in our irrigation reservoir so I do shoot them anytime I see them.
Funny thing about these snakes, any time I have shot a rattle snake they quit moving, you have to cautiously poke them with a stick to make sure they are really dead. Some of the fish snakes come out of the water when hit. The ones that did that were almost to shore with a catfish in the mouth.
So many beneficial snakes here that compete with rattlesnakes or actually eat rattlesnakes, they all get a free pass from me.

I guess that would work pretty well. I was just comparing to the Savage Stryker or Striker pistol.
Looked it up and saw Striker spelled both ways on guns for sale, I think Striker is correct. They were made by Savage.
