Thank You Whig but after reading your directions I decided to leave it alone unless shooting make it worse. After reading the directions it would seem the spring clips hasten the cracking and being unaware of how to remove destroys it. I have 80rnds Western super x 30-40 180 grain s p on its way. I have dies and brass but as yet no bullets so shoot the manufactured stuff first
