Thought you all might want to see this.  I put in the opening bid but let it go when someone outbid me.  I would've had to try cleaning it up and reselling and I just don't think there was any money left for that.

If I wanted it for the collection I wouldn't have minded that price...but I can't keep every neat gun I come across.

Unfortunately  :-[

I'm toying with the idea of selling mine, 476551. If I do it will be offered here first, and I'll be thinking of about $3500. It is complete and in good solid displayable condition - not quite as nice as the nice parts of that one. Extractor operation is also erratic - spring broken on one side. Have not shot it. Just testing the waters.

I was figuring a good one would be worth something like that.
My tentative plan was to use another barrel to lengthen this one (sleeving the outside) and relining the whole assembly.

That would look something like:
Rifle: $1,100
Barrel, bad bore: $125
Full length stock: $275
Barrel relining tools and supplies: $250

Now I’m at $1,750.
And how much could that rifle that’s incorrect in many ways go for?  I don’t mind gambling but that’s a pretty big one!

...would’ve been a fun project though....
