Title: A Question Post by chuck56 on Aug 24th, 2019 at 5:57pm
Maybe I was dreaming but a few years ago I thought I read an article about 3040 Krag Ammo being used in a pistol for cowboy shoots?
I swear I saw that someplace a few years ago? |

The regular CAS matches require rifles in pistol calibers, but there are sometimes side matches for big bore rifles like Sharps, Remington Rolling Block, etc. I guess if there was enough interest for late 19th century shooters like the Krag or the 1888 Commission Rifle, someone might have set up a separate course of fire for them. A Winchester 95 in .30-40 Krag might be fun, too.

You'd need a pistol that looks like this one to shoot 30-40 Krag ammo out of, wouldn't you??

Bubba's version of a Remington XP-100? That would hurt unless you download it a bunch.

I cracked up when I saw it! Had to copy the picture. I'd love to know more about it but never did find out anything.
Love it! |
