I'm just back from Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks.

The Visitor's Center at Yosemite had this photograph of Mounted Infantrymen with Krag rifles.

The 24th Infantry and 9th Cavalry served as Park Rangers in 1899, 1903, and 1904.
