Another picture of the 6th Cavalry along the Avenue of Statues to the Ming Tombs, which is near the Great Wall. The picture was taken by an Engineer contingency and states that members of the 6th Cavalry were in the foreground.

Note that there is a fifty foot strip of movie picture film showing the actual horse-mounted charge of the 6th Cavalry through the South Gate of the Walled City of Peking. It is kept at the National Archives and I don't know if there are copies that can be viewed elsewhere, like YouTube. It would be interesting to see.
