What 'style' or type of rifling was used in the Pope/Stevens .22 cal. 'Krag' barrels?
'Waterman' has it correct in my opinion. Only the Pope barrel is significant. The barrel was purchased as a separate item and could be put on any U.S. Krag rifle without any permanent alteration. |
