Some of us were genetically engineered to live above the 45th Parallel.

I looked for the one that was genetically engineered for cold and did not see anyone in a T-shirt and shorts. Maybe you add an arrow pointing to him. :-)

A cap for almost every cold weather occasion. A hunting cap for deer gun season. An everyday cap. And a formal hat with a touch of tweed.
Tags over the last few years. First tag just shows where it was made in Ironwood Michigan. Second tag with flag and "Made in  Michigan's Upper Peninsula USA". The last tag with flag and "Made in USA In the Midwest Of Globally Sourced Materials". I guess that is as good as it gets these days. Still proud to wear it.

Gosh .... mine has "imported parts" .... probably from Wisconsin or Troll Land! (A.K.A. The Lower Peninsula).

They didn't quite get the pattern right on these New York State "knock-offs".

I believe BR's tag fits in between my 2nd and 3rd cap tags. They changed the wording from "imported" to "Globally Sourced".

The "Globally Sourced" ones are likely intended for the Ann Arbor Market.  ;D

I work hard to buy American made also. We wear a lot of cotton down here, at least up until to a few years ago clothing made in Mexico or Central America had US grown cotton. It is a good thing to support your neighbors.
Funny all the people bargain hunting lately. They want to buy things below cost and brag about the deal they made instead of paying a fair price and seeing there their neighbors continue in business.
I have been in business for about 40 years it is a sad thing when good suppliers go out of business. Sometimes they lose customers because of foreign completion on price sometimes they just get old and die.

Hopefully we get things turned around and find more items made in the USA.

Stormy Kromer since 1903. Must have been a good year. My grandpa Knutson was born. Harley-Davidson started making motorcycles. The 1903 Springfield rifle came out.
