Established around 1890, on 160 acres, and still in use today, Sea Girt is a training grounds for the New Jersey National Guard.
From 1892 to 1907 it became the site of the NRA's Annual Matches, (replacing the defunct Creedmoor Range of N.Y.).
There is a ton of neat detail in some of the N.J. postcards and photos that show up on eBay.
