A picture would allow likely identification of the hand-guards in question.
The model 1895 lever-action Winchester, in military carbine configuration, uses a hand-guard often misidentified as a Krag hand-guard. Some Mauser hand-guards use a single 'spring-clip' attached to the wood with two small wood-screws, rather than rivets. |
