I recently inherited 2 krag rifles, 1 that looks to be original and the other cut down, stock painted and barrel either nickel or chrome plated. The one that looks original has a very pitted barrel and bore, is there any way to re-barrel or anything else l could do to get it shootable again thank you for any info l can get on it. Serial #164986 not sure what year it was manufactured
