Anyone here get lucky? Most reasonably priced "right" one I've seen in a LONG time - went for $25 over my last bid, but, I've finally learned to stop chasing things. It obviously wasn't meant to be.

I was bidding on a nice one on an auction site recently that went for a reasonable price. With this stupid flu panic, though, we're watching our dollars carefully. Markets down could continue.

I'm sure prices on these more expensive items may be depressed for a few months until things clear up nationally.

Came up on a fellow at a gunshow who was completing a deal for one once. He had just given the seller dont know how much and had the knife in hand. I asked him if I could look at it, he said yes and handed it over. I had just bought the Krag Bayonet book and was researching them for my faux Krag bowie build. It looked to be a fake to me with a too long ricasso but a book doesn’t make someone an expert and I didn’t know what he paid so I kept my opinions to myself. It’s been too long ago and I don’t remember if it had a scabbard or not. The scabbards are as beautiful as the curvy blades are. The one on GB is nice. Prices will be real depressed before America gets through this manmade disaster.
