Well I think part of collecting IS about the money.

As BR said "For some of us, a lot of the fun in 'collecting' is finding something good and interesting for not a lot of money".

I'm more inclined to purchase something I can afford.

Outside of the pleasures that we enjoy with our hobby I would say that it's nice to see our investments increase in value.

I'm sure many of us have Krags purchased long ago for a few dollars that have increased many times the original purchase price.

In fact...If I had tons of money I would have tons of Krags, bullets and accessories!!! :D

Oh yes...and bayonets!
