Yeah, we are going by a generic rule book developed by the CDC during the G W Bush administration. Did you notice that during January we were having a flu epidemic and it came to a screeching halt when we locked down. That actually did some good keeping people out of the hospitals.
Part of the generic rule book requires surface cleaning, as of Mar15 not one single case of C-19 had been documented spread by surface transmission. As of yesterday not a single documented case of transmission by handling money. Yet no one is saying you can relax on cleaning with dangerous chemicals that could inflame your lungs and make you more susceptible. Several of the cases where I have heard of rapid onset and death, the person told his kin about someone coughing behind them. Now there is talk of super spreaders, infecting almost everyone in a theater size establishment. Loud singing of infected person during a concert is worse than someone coughing. Stay away from karaoke bars.

I have looked around the local H E B grocery store and wondered why the clerks have not gotten it. Air circulation and 24 foot ceilings make a world of difference, almost like being outside. Point about 6' 1" is well taken, 25 feet is not enough when someone is actively coughing or singing. Measles can be caught by entering a closed room an hour and 1/2 after an infected person has left.

Closing down public schools was part of the rule book, notice was taken of the school project of the 14 year old daughter of a Sandia lab scientist. Using her model more than 90 percent of a town of 20,000 would get a virulent disease if the schools were not shut down, less than 500 if the schools were closed. Too bad they did not think about public transportation. They only closed the NYC subway for 1 day for "deep cleaning"! San Antonio is giving free passes to maintain ridership in the taxpayer funded bus system. Nothing like being in a can of sardines with one person coughing and a mask that is only 20% effective.
