I have some 30-40 brass I would like to ship to Illinois. Does anybody live there or know if it's legal to ship brass to that state?

I have ordered brass from mid south shooters supply and had it delivered with no problems. There are no restrictions on the mailing of brass to Illinois. Hope that helps.

Empty brass is just metal. Should be fine. The only concern, although very small, may be if they smell strongly of recently fired powder. Sometimes that could be an issue but I don't know if anything really significant.

Check stores online that sell empty brass. Do you see any restrictions as to certain states? I never have.

Make sure they are not primered, though. That would be an issue.
