U.S. Springfield Model 1898, Armory manufactured as a Gallery Practice .22 Caliber Training rifle. Serial #476815. This rifle is complete in every way, though lacking in condition. Condition is brown with no blue left. Stock may have been sanded long ago. The script "JFC" cartouche is present, but not readable. The circle script "P" is not there which is appropriate for Armory assembled Gallery Practice Rifles, since they were not proofed. Price $2,300.00
