Good morning,

I was given my grandfathers Krag for christmas. I am wondering whether anyone can help identify what I have, whether it has been "sporterized" etc. I have posted some pictures below. I will in all likelihood wish to sell it as I have no need for it. Is this model pre-1899? in which case can I sell it without the FFL hassle? I have SO may questions, so I'll start by posting pics. Thanks ahead of time for any comments and advice.

I don't know much about them as of yet, but I will be able to assure you, you'll have no problem selling it. That's a nice looking rifle! Wish I got that for Christmas!
