Hello all,

I know some of you are getting ready for Baltimore this weekend.  For those of you that haven't been, you really should try to go, it is great show with so many interesting guns.

I am very sorry to report that Ned and I will not be making it to the show this year!  Ned had to go into the hospital over the weekend with an infection in his spine!  It was quite bad for a few days, but getting better now.  He is home, but on many medications and antibiotics.  He has many weeks of recovery ahead.

So, he is unable to go to the show and I need to be around over the weekend to help him out.  Right now he is just able to walk around the house and can not lift or move anything with any weight at all.  So, I will be doing heavy stuff for him.

We both really regret not being able to attend and to see and talk with all our fellow Krag guys.

Let us know how it was after the weekend.  We plan on attending next year.  So, will see you then.

Best regards,
Tom

The Baltimore show was pretty good. It did have a great many people selling Krags. I thought the prices went from the reasonable to the ridiculous. I saw a carbine comparable to one I own going for $1800. It was a 98 I believe. I didn't look at it too closely but it didn't seem as if there was anything special about it.

I wasn't looking for a Krag that day and since they have a 1000 tables I didn't stop and look. I saw one guy carrying around a carbine with the first upper hand guard I wanted to stop and ask him what he paid for it but he did an about face before I got to ask him.

I was surprised S&S Firearms was there. They had quite a large display.
