KCA Photo question...

Looking at the Photos on the Homepage, and have a couple questions about the upper left Sporter as you look at it.

1) How long is the barrel?

2) How long is the stock forward of the lower band?

I have happened upon a 1896 stock to re-stock my old Krag and this one looks dimensionally about like the one I have found. Hoping the pic is of a rifle with a 24" barrel and @7" forward of the lower band.

Sorry it took me a while to get to this sporter to get the measurements for you.  It seems they are different than yours.  The barrel is onl 21 1/2 inches and it is 4 3/4 inches of stock in front of the band.

It is not a collectable, but a great little sporter.  My first Krag.  It is the one my father gave me for my 16th birthday, it has knocked down a lot of deer over the years.    It is one of my collection that I will never get rid of!!

Best regards,
Tom
