	FAKE!!! Wrong serial number range, bad crown, bad front sight base job, wrong blade, stock that never existed (M99s did not have swivel bar), I'm sure there's more, but that should suffice. On the plus side, it's not bad looking, and if the bore is good, the price is fair for a shooter, but do not buy that one as any sort of "investment"!!

	Thanks Dick you helped me prior to purchasing my 1899 and refurbished 1896. I was curious about the S/N since about 3.5k above S/N range shown in Poyer and Riesh's book. A friend of mine has sent a message to seller with a offer of 800.00. I will pass on your remarks.
