Winchester 748 ball powder?

Has anyone come up with successful .30-40 (jacketed or cast) loads using W-748 ball powder?  I have an 8 pound canister of this propellant.  It seems very useful in .223, .30-30, .308, .30-06, and .303 British (cast bullet) loads.  But, I do not run across data using this powder in .30-40.

You'd be safe reducing the .303 British start loads a tad and working up.  The 30/40 and .303 are very close in capacity.  Although there's no 748 data in this compilation, there is data for BLC-2, which burns at about the same rate.  Start low, work up.  (You need to Login to view media files and links)
