Is there a tutorial or pics of pulling this off somewhere? I'd hate to damage it. I bought a book on the Krag but my wife misplaced it. Not sure if there was a schematic of the rifle in it, is their one somewhere on this site? Great site, BTW!

Thanks for validating that. When I saw it, I thought it looked really good, though I was disappointed about the sights and hoping a restoration was possible. I'm going to start looking for parts. Should any good gun smith be able to take off that front sight and braze the correct sight base on? Any idea what a service like that might cost? I think I should be able to install the rear sight myself.
