	Hi from carbon outlaw I was looking on the internet today for screws for my 1899 krag anyway I found a web sight called S&S Firearms in Glendale NY that has reproduction sight screws . ....end of message....end of transmission...by....

	I just bought a hand guard for a1898 Krag and a peep blade with screw for a 1902 sight from S&S. The HG is a almost a perfect fit and the peep blade with screw fit perfectly.

	S&S Firearms, Glendale, NY, has been around for a long time. I have always found them good to deal with. Their catalog is viewable on-line. They have an interesting assortment of original & reproduction parts and accessories.

	If I understand the history correctly, the elder Mrs. S had a grandfather named Bannerman.

	The S&S story I heard was that after the fire on Bannerman's Island (1958?), the sole living relative was this pre-Hippy chick. She knew she had inherited a bunch of buttons, etc. and her significant other (S) pointed out that the Civil War Centennial was only a year off & maybe they could sell the stuff & make some money. They had to get married to secure a business loan.
