I have an 1896 Krag carbine that I'm restoring.  The end of the stock was cut off at some point and a rubber pad added.  I want to replace the end of stock but I'm not sure how much was cut off.  Could someone give me a measurement from some point back to the end of the stock?  Thanks.

I knew I had asked that question before but I couldn't remember where or when.  I found it in an old thread from March 18, 2014 that Gunboat57 replied to with measurements.
