A useful and intersting reference book

My lovely wife got me "U.S. Military Arms Inspector Marks" for my recent birthday.

This 240 page work, by the late Anthony C. Daum and Charles W. Pate, gives interesting insights into some of the armory inspection process and biographical information on many of the men behind the 'initials'.

It sells for $50 from Mowbray Publishing.

It would seem that I should purchase a copy of that book!

Just for grins, does my name appear in the credits? I ask because some of the language in the Hosmer bio is a DIRECT quote from my correspondence with Tony.

Dick - I could not find your name in the 'credits'.

Charles W. Pate edited and compiled the research and work of the deceased, Anthony C. Daum.

Mr. Pate acknowledges, 'Tony' being given a lot of help from others. His death made it impossible to give a lot of credit where it is really due.
