Wrong stuff on ebay

I should get past caring, but, .... it bothers me, when new collectors might get taken advantage of or misinformed by incorrect item 'listings'.

The first photo shows part of a Tool that was listed as: "part of a Trap-door or Krag Cleaning Kit". (It is not U.S.).

I contacted the seller and correctly informed him about the item in his listing. He 'thanked' me for the information, but, failed to correct his Listing. (I hope the buyer knew what the item really is and wanted it. It is part of a French tool that was used with the Chassepot, Gras, Lebel and Berthier rifles).

The second photo shows what might be an 'innocent mistake'. A 1903 Springfield rear-sight leaf and slide on a Krag 1901 sight base.

This could prove a practical solution for aging eyes!
