Spent some time working on the 74 Ranch down by Pleasanton in the late '80's.  I sure do miss South Texas at times!

Thanks, guys.

My dad, at 87 and having balance issues, has given up shooting and gave me all his guns. I'm dying to get a deer with this one -- hence my desire to be able to load cartridges into the thing!  With what I've learned about the sights, I'll have it dialed in and ready to hunt next year.

This is a great forum; thanks for all the helpful comments!
