Krag is a catchy name, isn't it? When pronounced wrong it rhymes with flag. How patriotic?

Oh dear, we may need a new thread.  How do you pronounce it?
Craig, Creg, Crag….?  I have an idea, but I fear to start; on a separate note, isn't flag day on June 14?

IIRC, I was once told it is closer to "Grock" than anything else.

From my understanding, and I don't know where it came from anymore, but say crack with a "g" at the end instead. Not Craig with a long "a", but a short "a". It is kind of a subtle difference, that is if I know what I'm talking about.

This tickled me a little. Try this web link for pronunciation of "Krag Jorgensen", especially the Danish and English(USA). But the Norwegian pronunciation would be the most correct. Uff da!!!

I don't have a good ear or tongue for this sort of thing, but,

Ole Krag kind of sounds like: Oh-lay Kruhnt

on the Norwegian pronunciation site.

The Norwegian version sounds like the "r" is rolled like it is in a lot  of dialects. But the English dialect doesn't roll the "r".
Not all that close, but my Norwegian last name is Knutson, and it is pronounced ka-noot-son with emphasis on noot. Anyway, I don't believe Krag was pronounced Craig until us Americans got a hold of it and pronounce it the way it looks to us and is more natural in our language. Ole Krag still had to be proud of us Americans adopting his and Jorgensen's design, no matter how we pronounced his last name.
