Ever see one of these?

I was perusing the U.S. Army "Ordnance Supply Manual - 1904", that 'Knute1' mentioned in another KCA thread.

This caught my eye. I have never heard or seen such a combination, an Officer's "Whistle/Sword". Something kind of 'Swiss Army Knife-like' about the whole thing!

Here is a link to a Prussian and a U.S. 1860 pattern whistle sword examples. Never heard or seen one of these before your post. Looks like a good way to knock your teeth out while on a horse.
