In addition to his sight patent and involvement in the early history of the Pacific Gun Sight Company, (Machinist) Walter Joseph Sutton, of 424 Balboa St., San Francisco, also filed U.S. Patent #1933940.

This patent contains many of the ideas and features found in our Reloading Presses, Dies, Bullet Pullers, and Primer Seating Arms.

A few years back, in preparation to begin my recent reloading journey, i picked up this .38 Special Pacific reloading die set from EBay.  So far the dies have worked perfectly with no problems.

Nice looking Dies! They had to be made roughly between 1949 and 1962.

The Pacific Gun Sight Company address on your box is Palo Alto, Ca.

By 1957 (or before), Pacific G.S. Co. had moved from S.F.

By 1962 (or before), they had moved to Lincoln, Nebraska.

Is there a Date on the Dies? (I bet they last for a long, long, time)!

Thanks for the info BR!!!

Unfortunately no package insert came with the die set. Embarrassed

Dies are stamped 38 SP, Pacific and the letter E.  Additionally the crimping die is stamped 1, seating 2 and resizing/fired primer removal 3.

By 1962 the Pacific Gun Sight Co. is in Nebraska. They market Reloading Tools and supplies - (No more gun sights, no longer a gun-shop, no firearms sales).  Cry
