I don't know who they were, but, this photo shows my grandfather teaching some young men to shoot a 'pump action' .22 cal. rifle.
The activity is on the outskirts of a Copper Mining location, in northern Michigan, around 1910.

He would be doing this with me 50 years later, but, with a bolt-gun and no Derbies!
