Now we know the origin of Mr. Potato Head!

Hmmm ..."Stuffed Skull" ... Raw potato or mashed?

I wonder if the severe Martini wounds, mentioned in the Article, were inflicted by rifles chambered for the .577/.450 (Black Powder) cartridge or .303 (Cordite) cartridge?

The Article states "Martini-Henry", which should be rifles using the .577/.450 round, with a .45 caliber, 480 grain Lead projectile.

But, we all know how reporters can get things wrong!

In 1896, "Martini-Metford" and "Martini-Enfield", conversions were also around, chambered for .303 caliber Round Nose and "Dum Dum" jacketed rounds.

Attached photo shows Chinese Soldiers (from around that era) with Martini Rifles that appear to be a .303 version.
