We just had one hell of an earthquake!

Kind of shaken up but everyone is ok

Powers out but we'll manage

Cleaning up the mess now and dealing with aftershocks

God Bless everyone

Yeah!  Take of yourself and the family up there.  Last thing you need is a problem in the Alaska winter.

Thank you everyone for your concern and prayers!

Family's doing fine and still cleaning up and assessing damage after the "Big Shake!"

I've been through bigger quakes, but this one was the most devastating due to proximity and surface depth.

Unfortunately, most of the china plates and ceramic things my wife collected through the years were damaged.  Cry

I suggested she start collecting something more durable like Krag rifles and carbines! Cheesy

Lucky for me she was still rattled from the quake and her aim with a frying pan wasn't as true as it usually is! Grin

God Bless you all.

p.s. As a side note... I actually used my Winchester flashlight, with fresh batteries, during the power outage.

Glad you're safe Local Boy...  Take care and be well.  Use some of the insurance money to fund a trip to Perry for the Roosevelt!  LOL   Cheesy
