'Fred G.' - 'scosmi51' has two slings.

The OP's sling on the rifle laying on the blue/grey blanket is a 66 inch long replica (M-1887). It is not fully tensioned and is installed a bit wrong. (The brass 'Frog' should be outside, not inside, where it might mar the wood).

His "Rock Island - 1904" marked sling is an original sling and per Brophy was for use on the Krag.

Yes, those early 1903 slings made at Rock Island were and are Perfect for the Krag.
If I ever obtain a 2nd Krag rifle, I’ll buy another such sling for it too.
Hey, THAT’s an excellent idea...  I’ll get another Krag!
