Is "100 Rifles" on the list? A 1969 movie with Burt Lancaster and Raquel Welch.

Seriously, a movie with Raquel and Krags, could life get any better?

They are if you swear upon the almighty Krag, that you hold holy, that they are.

Another Krag film to the list.

Check out this website for what the Krag Jorgensen was being used for in the movie "100 Rifles". Scan down and it is the Model 1896 portrayed as being used. Unfortunately, I don't believe Raquel is seen in the movie actually handling a Krag.

The full length movie is on YouTube.

Culpeper, I am going to brag once again, but.....
The following link to YouTube is a moving picture of "President McKinley's Funeral Cortege at Buffalo, NY", part 1. Lead by the Buffalo Police Department and then Company I of the 14th Regiment, which my great grandfather was a part of. Not a movie, but the actual thing. They are carrying the M1898 Krag Jorgensen. Perhaps you can make a stretch of things and include this very early film on your list.

I would love to include the early Edison films but I think we can all agree the Krags are expected to be found in real life contemporary films of its time and not fictional films twenty years after the Span-Am War such as Chaplin's films or later productions.

But Hey!  You can run down the actualities and make a new list to parrallel this list.

Sorry, no pictures with a Krag. Below are the only military pictures I know of. I am not sure when/where the first picture was taken. I am assuming it was during his first enlistment and was taken in Manila, Philippines (he also was sent to China for the Boxer Rebellion). He is wearing his Army Stetson hat and some new clothes he bought for a striking picture for back home. He had left for the Army without telling family until he wrote a letter that started out "I suppose you know by now that I am in the Army".  He was a private and was a bugler. One of my uncles has the bugle, which I would at least like to get a picture of.
He was later a recruiter for the Great War and enlisted himself as a captain of a cavalry company. I believe the second picture would have been from that time period. His company was switched to a bombardment unit. He was honorably discharged at his request because as captain he could not perform the mathematics required for canon trajectory.

I've seen most of these movies, some several times.  Now I'm going to have to watch them again to play 'spot the Krag'.  My wife is ecstatic ..... well anyway, she's going on about something Grin
