And now for something you will really like.

Go to 1:05:45 for the funniest gag in the 1920s.

Good finds on the new movies and I will add a European Krag is still a Krag.

I actually enjoyed watching the movie!

Thanks for sharing Culp.

BTW: William Boyd unfortunately was blacklisted by Hollywood, for a while, because of an error made in a newspaper story.  The story accused him of gambling and liquor charges when in reality it was another actor named William Stage Boyd who was the perpetrator.  William Lawrence Boyd was able to overcome being maligned by the newspaper and went on to become cowboy hero "Hopalong Cassidy".

And now from the small screen I give you a story of the south Pacific in the Second World War and of the brave men of the Navy and their boats.

Today's find is from The Great Dictator (1940) with Charlie Chaplin.

You had to dig for that one. You made me look to see what the movie was about and it had this scene. Never saw Chaplin so serious. He was making a statement as an actor and pretty much nailed it, unlike actors of today.

I have arrived in Shangri La.  Krags and Buster Keaton in the same film.  Doesn't get any better than that.

Tars and Stripes (1935) Buster Keaton
