Mr. Price's (Pryce's?) handguards may, or may not, be OK, but I'd be VERY careful in any transactions with him. He was involved in pimping a very suspect BoOF rifle a few years ago and was NOT at all helpful, or up front, in his correspondence. Personally, I wouldn't deal with him.

I knew some here had issues with him but could not remember who or why. That clears that up. So buyer beware. Hopefully with something like a forend extension things will work out.

Haven't bought yet. I've been duped once on Gun Broker and lost money years ago. Don't want it to happen again.

The Numrich offer might be better. Thanks for the link. I have an account with them and their reputation is great.

Happy shooting!

I think the N/GPC picture shows an excess of wood, probably to hold the piece while forming. It also appears that the front step is not fully machined, at least some lines that should be parallel do not appear to be so. As to the joint, I cannot believe that ANY reasonable person would put the splice anywhere but under the band. Now that I am REALLY retired I hope to have more time for such "projects".

Always easier to take some excess wood off than to put it back on.

I bought once from Price on Gunbroker. Be sure to communicate with him, be sure to read everything associated with his ad on GB and be sure you are clear on the delivery date before you buy.

The forestcok I got was basically fine I did not like that they come pre-drilled.

In the absence of East Taylor/Jack Schwartz, I will buy from Price again and hold my breath.
