During WW-2 many of Alaska's Island Natives were removed from their homes and 'Interned' on the Mainland.

A small force of U.S. Service Personnel were on the Pribilof Islands, along with a Native Reserve Guard.
The Krag rifles were apparently replaced with Rifle Model of 1917 - Enfield rifles.
