So.....just to fill the time on a lazy Sunday afternoon (just woke up from a nap). Here is an "expert" with a Krag in a newer virtual game. He discovers one of the Krag's negative features, reloading.

There are other videos of people playing Battlefield 5, but this one is slow enough for me to follow.

Makes one wonder if they’ve ever handled, never mind fired a firearm, except in a computer game.

You are likely right. I made sure that four of my sons have had the opportunity to shoot the real thing including a Krag and Spanish Mauser (Model 1916).
