I'm just back from Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks.

The Visitor's Center at Yosemite had this photograph of Mounted Infantrymen with Krag rifles.

The 24th Infantry and 9th Cavalry served as Park Rangers in 1899, 1903, and 1904.

Interesting that you captured a picture of some of the wildlife wearing sunglasses! Were you allowed to feed it?

Looks like a nice trip. Never been to those places.

So that is why things were just a bit slow on the forum recently.

Can't help but think of Theodore Roosevelt when seeing pictures of National Parks.

I forgot how gin clear the streams are out west. No wonder I had such a hard time catching trout. Great pic.
