A gun tool question.

I was successful at bidding for these two tools on GunBroker.

The top tool is a model 1897 Krag screw-driver.

The bottom tool appears to be either a model 1865 Spencer Tool or a Tool for the Remington Rolling-Block.

Any one know for sure?

Looks similar to a M1842 musket tool with a different top hole. There's one in this guy's collection:

Here it is. A Spencer Civil War Rifle and Carbine tool. Selling for $125. Nice find. (Down the page a ways.)

Thanks 'Whig', you confirmed it's a Spencer Tool. That was my gut belief, probably based on 'latent memory' of old Dixie Gun Works catalogs.

The Krag Tool was my 'target', the second tool is a nice bonus!

I got them for a very reasonable price.

FWIW: (My old S&S Firearms catalog lists the strange tool as a Remington Rolling-Block tool).
