The Carbine has the P in a circle behind the trigger guard. Between that mark and the trigger guard there is what appears to be initials L S
I can't find any reference to this L S ??
Any assistance will be appreciated.

If these are actually armory marks, they are just marks made by different people who had some part of the manufacturing process at Springfield Armory. They have no relevance to the value of the Krag.

The "P" is the proof mark from the armory.

A picture of what you are referring to can help just to make sure.
