Bonnie & Clyde Photoshop?

I saw this photo on 'Pinterest' and took it to be Clyde Barrow (with 'cut-down' Krag and shotgun) and Bonnie Parker.
Then, I became curious about the sign and 'bumper ornaments or motor club badges'.
Suddenly, I noticed the British looking license plate and Steering Wheel on the right-hand side. (The photo appears to be credited to a 'Chuck's Auction House' in Pennsylvania).
It sure looks like Bonnie & Clyde have possibly been inserted in a photo?

Attached are a couple of known photos of Clyde Barrow with a Krag and other guns, in front of a Ford V-8.

I looked at the shadows of Bonnie and the car on top, looks like Bonnie's shadow is longer than the cars'. Top of her head and top of the car are about the same height. Possibly the shadows are in a slightly different direction. If it was faked they did a fairly good job.

Did B&C ever hide out north of the border? May have been more British cars up there.

Getting a tax stamp and making a Remington Model 11 "whippet" is on my "someday" list of projects.
They sure look mean like that!

I have read that Clyde was partial to the Ford, because of it's speed.

A letter to Henry Ford from Clyde Barrow:

Dear Sir,
While I still have got breath in my lungs I will tell you what a dandy car you make. I have drove Fords exclusively when I could get away with one. For sustained speed and freedom from trouble the Ford has got ever other car skinned and even if my business hasn't been strictly legal it don't hurt anything to tell you what a fine car you got in the V8.
Yours truly,
Clyde Champion Barrow

The image of Clyde sitting on the bumper of the British car is exactly the same 'known' image of him sitting on the "Ford V-8".

The 'reused image' has shortened the length of the Krag barrel and Clyde's guns are no longer casting a shadow.

The "V-8" image, (a Real photograph of Clyde), shows a shadow on the ground of the semi-auto shotgun and Krag. The gun shadows show the Krag to actually have a barrel much longer  than the shotgun barrel.

I haven't found the photo of Bonnie, that was used with the image of the 'right-hand steering-wheel car'. (Although, I am sure it is an image of her).

IMHO - The Krag looks to be a model 1898, (with a carbine or shortened rifle barrel), put in a 'cut-down' rifle stock. A front-barrel-band appears jammed on the shortened forearm.

The rear sight looks to be a model 1896 sight with a 'sight-protecting' hand-guard.

I just ran across the photo of Bonnie Parker that was used with the British car.

Someone 'flipped' this picture and 'photoshopped' it to create a bogus photograph.
I don't know who, or why?

(This image was used on a 'Wanted Poster', back during the 'Hunt' for these criminals, and the cigarette should be in her right hand).

I don't give a 'rats arse' about the Barrow Gang of Maggots. I just wanted a clear view of the Krag!

'Flipped Bonnie' on Left, with British Motor Car - 'Real Bonnie' on Right, with Ford V-8:

Or, maybe .... Bonnie & Clyde were not 'done in' at the ambush in Louisiana and fled to GB and are hiding in Yorkshire, near Downton Abbey!

They look like identical twins. You just think it's the same person.

A 'Mirror Image' of each other.

Bonnie was beside herself, when Clyde drove up in the Bentley!

IIRC, Clyde loved the Krag... and also preferred Ford V-8s not only because of their speed and ease of driving... also because they were extremely easy to steal!

Ya, but, a British car would allow Clyde to return fire with his 1911 Colt in the right-hand, while steering with the left. Bonnie was obviously ambidextrous .... smart.

(BTW - I honestly don't really care about Bonnie and Clyde. I was just trying to make out details on the Krag, when I realized, I was looking at a British car and 'Doctored' photo. It's a jungle out there)!

But if you would be interested in the Bonnie and Clyde story a good recent movie about them is "The Highwaymen" with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson on Netflix. Can't remember if they show a Krag on the movie, but it is more about the "highwaymen" then it is about B & C.
I watched the movie despite Costner's stance on gun ownership. He sure is in a lot of movies with them.

Here is a scene from the movie when Costner was rounding up some firearms to use:
